It’s such an accomplishing feeling to notice yourself progressing. In fact, have you heard Tony Robbins (personal development guru) talk about how closely related progress and happiness are. It doesn’t matter what we are progressing in but we have to make progress in life. It is a source of happiness! So, here’s to a week of making progress and feeling good!

30×30 Challenge: Week 3 Schedule

Week 3 of the 30×30 Challenge and there’s no stopping us now! Actually… sometimes there is a mid-journey bump in the road and you may be encountering that now.

At the beginning of a challenge, motivation is high and it is “easier” to stick to the plan. A few weeks in, it’s my goal that the motivation has turned into habits, allowing you to stay consistent. BUT, if that isn’t happening for you right now… that’s okay!

I am here to encourage you to shake off whatever hasn’t worked out and jump back in with the same motivation you began with. Hit your daily workout and enjoy those yummy meals. There is no time like the present!

Basically, these were the most clicked and cooked recipes this past year so if you’re looking for something to whip up, try one of these. 1. CHICKEN PESTO PANINI

I made this panini 4x in 1 week I loved it so much. It’s thattt good. 

2. BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP

I initially thought this would be a delicious side or party dish… then I started eating it as an entire meal haha. Pair it with some healthier tortilla chips or celery. You will FREAK over this!

3. CHOCOLATE PROTEIN MUFFINS

This recipe was from 2 years ago yet it still is one of my most popular recipes to date. It shows up month after month on my most read posts. I totally understand why you love it… so many yums.

4. HOMEMADE ELECTROLYTE DRINK

This “recipe” came from sharing what I drink in my AM and PM routine. I was waking up sluggish and with headaches all to often; when I implemented this homemade electrolyte drink, I truly believe this helped remedy those symptoms. Try it out and read more about the health benefits as to why I started making this.

5. SPICY CHEESY CHICKEN STUFFED PEPPERS

A total hit among the LG community. Quick to prepare. Feeds the family. Delicious. You’ll find yourself making this over and over.

This was a fun yet delicious recipe. I love when I can combine protein and sweets… what’s not to love?!

Your clicks voted… here are the 8 most popular workout from 2018. Since I began LG, I’ve shared THOUSANDS of workouts so it’s really fun to look back and see what ones were your favorites. If you’re looking for a good workout this week or in the upcoming months, be sure you bookmark this page because these were your most loved workouts from the entire year!

1.  WEIGHTED BICEPS + TRICEPS WORKOUT

My arms will forever be my most improved body part. I continue to pour into my bicep and tricep workouts so I love seeing that you enjoy them just as much.

2. GLUTE INTERVAL WORKOUT

The combination of these moves and the interval style made for an unforgettable booty burn.

3. ARMS + ABS WEIGHT TRAINING WORKOUT

This is a Weight Training Plan 3.0 style workout. The format of this workout and the entire WTP 3.0 program is my all time favorite.

4. NO EQUIPMENT HIIT CARDIO

I think this workout was so popular because it could be completed from anywhere- no gym or equipment required. It’s not always easy to get an effective workout in at home but I know jut how to accomplish that ;):)

5. LEGS + ABS WEIGHT TRAINING WORKOUT

Another Weight Training Plan 3.0 style workout. Looking back I remember how tough that finishing circuit was to complete after a killer leg workout.

6. FIT ARMS WEIGHTED CIRCUIT WORKOUT

Talk about time under tension… this workout worked the arms so deeply because of the amount of time spent stressing the bicep and tricep muscles. Definitely one to complete again and again!

7. UPPER BODY BURN OUT WORKOUT

An all around great upper body workout. 

8. HIIT CARDIO + ABS WORKOUT

I love a muscle burnout workout, especially for the upper body. If I have a favorite workout of the week, this is it. I also strategically assigned it to the end of the week because the muscle pump provides will give your arms a nice little look if you’re wearing any sleeveless outfits this weekend haha. Just a general tip (I did this with a dress I wore to a holiday party last weekend)… an hour or so before your event, perform a few upper body/arm exercises with light weight and it will enhance the beautiful muscles you have!

Half way through the week… yay! This workout uses just dumbbells and a resistance band so if you have those at your house, I am going to suggest you workout at home today. Give yourself a new change of scenery. If you usually workout at home, try the gym OR even just a different place in your home. It seems silly but it actually helps increase my workout focus when I switch around where I workout! Anything to help keep us on our game this holiday season, right?!

This upper body circuit workout is a nice contrast from the style of training we did yesterday. I think that’s key in keeping your workouts fun and engaging. Even though we lift weights regularly, we change up the training style and sequence to the workout. This is obviously not only great for your mind but also your body… switch ups = force the body to adapt = even better results.

Rise and grind… the theme of the week is “finish strong” which also means we must start strong. No better way to kick of a good week than with leg day. After the glute activation, I love that this workout consists of staple movements. When you’re in a time crunch and you want the most effective, “best bang for you buck” type of workouts, always select the staple exercises. That’s exactly what this workout is about!
