CHOCOLATE PROTEIN MUFFINS RECIPE

After that ridiculously delicious Protein Cookie Dough Recipe set the bar sky high, I knew the next recipe I shared with you all would have to be equally sweet and pack that protein punch! I’m pretty stinkin’ certain these Chocolate Protein Muffins will deliver! My favorite part of this recipe is that 1 serving = 3 muffins lol. Feast on!

Homemade Dark Chocolate Muffins to Eat at Breakfast

INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup oats
3 ripe bananas
2 eggs
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350
Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners or grease tin
Process oats in a blender or food processor until ground to make oat flour. Add all the remaining ingredients and process until well blended
Transfer to muffin tin, evenly distributing across 12 tins
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
Let muffins cool on cooling rack for 15 minutes

  • 1/4 tsp Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners or grease tin
  • Process oats in a blender or food processor until ground to make oat flour. Add all the remaining ingredients and process until well blended
  • Transfer to muffin tin, evenly distributing across 12 tins
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
  • Let muffins cool on cooling rack for 15 minutes

Notes

Recipe makes 12 servings (1 serving = 3 muffins)

    Do you know how many calories each muffin has or a serving has? These are delicious by the way.

      Hi Danielle! Great question – honestly, I don’t count calories and my overall nutrition approach is to not count/think numbers, which is why I do not share those values. You could do a quick calculation based on the ingredients listed but if you stick with my servings size, you can enjoy without the worry 🙂 I’m so glad you enjoy them. XO
