I have always been a fan of smoothies (and have – lot of other fun smoothie recipes on the blog. (Search smoothie in the search bar) 😉 BUT I have come to enjoy my smoothies 10x more now that my boys also enjoy them.
We make it a fun activity to do together. They love to help put the ingredients in the blender and my little one Beckham especially loves to blend it all up. It makes me extra happy that they enjoy the smoothies so much because they are so beneficial and healthy…plus it always is a win as a mom when they love what you love.
This green smoothie has become one of my new favorites and i thought it was the perfect time to share with St Patty’s coming up.
*Pro tip- make sure to drink/enjoy the smoothie with a silicone smoothie straw.*
Green Protein Smoothie Recipe
- 3/4 – 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 cup spinach
- 1/4 – 1/2 avocado
- Place all of the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
