ConfidenceKini Challenge: Shoulders + Abs (W2D2)

My favorite workout of the week! Shoulders have become my “fit arm hack” because sculpted and defined deltoid muscles give the entire arm a strong appearance. Because of that, I’ve really been focusing more on them, which is why I’ve dedicated an entire workout to training shoulders (and abs!). ConfidenceKini Challenge: Legs + Glutes (W2D1)

We are starting the week off with a good one! This workout is a switched up style than what is typical for an LG workout but I really love it. You may be familiar with “tabata” or interval training. Basically, it’s a timed workout in which you complete an exercise for a certain amount of time, rest and repeat. The rest periods are quick so the muscles are forced to work HARD in a short amount of time. Don’t be surprised if you are extra sore tomorrow.

We’ve worked both legs and arms already this week, but I like to further focus on two muscle groups that give the body a really fit look. ConfidenceKini Challenge: HIIT Cardio + Abs (W1D3)

Today is a break from weight training to allow our muscles to recover and add in some cardio and abs. Just a note on recovery – take rest days when needed because it’s part of the plan. Our muscles physically break down during workouts and it’s only when they’re allowed to recovery and given proper nutrients that they can repair, grow and give us results.

With that said, enjoy a day of of weights OR if you prefer, take a day off completely!

Arm day! You’ll notice this format of workouts a few times during the challenge. The goal here is to combine weight training arm exercises with movements that increase the intensity. The movements I’ve chosen for this are high plank exercises that combine both core and cardio. In between the weight training, you’ll drop to the ground to complete those. This format is will definitely provide the burn.
