When I started the Macro-Friendly restaurant order series, one of the top requests was for healthy meals at Chipotle.I was so excited to put together the below meals for Chipotle because it is one of my personal favorites too. What I love most about Chipotle is that it is so easy to build a meal around whatever macros you’re looking for. I love that they’re high protein meals with relatively clean ingredients as compared to most fast food options.
Chiptole Tip
The key to ordering wisely at restaurants and fast-food is to find options that are portion-friendly / macro-friendly. This means that when looking at the protein, fat and carbohydrates, they fall within what would be typical of a meal (such as one you would be eating at home).
What I find at Chipotle is a typical meal provides a good amount of protein but pretty high fat and carbs for what I would eat in a normal meal. Want my hack? Order double protein/double meat and make the meal 2 servings. This makes the macros better and you get 2 meals for the price of 1.
