Fruit Breakfast Smoothie
In yesterday’s post I mentioned the importance of breakfast (see post “plyometrics – legs 9/8 for that tip of the day). Here is my favorite breakfast option that is healthy, tasty, and satisfying!
-1 cup of ice
-1 scoop vanilla or strawberry protein powder
-1/2 cup coconut milk (I prefer unsweetened or unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
-1/3 cup Greek yogurt (look for one with the lowest sugar content)
-1/2 cup of old fashioned oats
-3-4 medium sized fresh strawberries 
-optional: 1 tbsp of natural peanut/almond butter or 10 almons
