Tip of the Day: Happy August 1st! As many of you know, on the first of every month, I do the same “exercise.” Side note – a good chunk of my blog is dedicated to education because I believe knowledge is power; the more we all know, the more we can better ourselves and our life. So, as I share what works for me , I also like to be sure we’re all doing the “homework” together.
Follow me as I work through my 1st of the month assignment! I encourage you to fill in the blanks with your answers 🙂
Q1. Identify a few things that you did well last month? Pat yourself on the back!
A: In July, I succeeded at incorporating more fruits, vegetables, and plant based foods into my meals. I killed just about every workout last month!
Q2. Identify something you struggled with last month?
A: Last month, I didn’t work on my flexibility and stretching as much as I wanted.
Q3. What can you do differently this month to overcome that obstacle?
A: I am going to go to a yoga class 1x per week and add in regular stretching, foam rolling, and epsom salt baths.
Q4. Set a health and wellness goal for August
A: My goal for August is to work out regularly with an accountability partner who can push me to complete more reps to work on muscle fatigue!
The view from the workout room at my new complex may make my goal a bit more achievable; who wouldn’t want to workout with that view?!
EBOOK UPDATE: Monday is the day! Check back in on Monday to download your copy of my fat loss solution ebook! Losing fat doesn’t have to be a difficult, dreaded process; let me prove that to you! XO

    Hi Lauren!

I hate to be intrusive, but also as a recent grad I wonder how you are able to afford all you have; such a beautiful apartment (that gym and pool!), dental school, etc? Do you work a lot or how do you balance all of these expenses?

    THanks!

Lauren- please get back to me, even if you just don't want to answer it, I'd like to know either way.
