Lately, I’ve been more aware of how I begin my day, especially as it relates to my phone usage. I heard The Skinny Confidential Him and Her Podcast (one of my favs!) talking about not using your phone in the AM for things like emails, texts and scrolling social media because it makes you react; you don’t want to be reacting to what other people need of you. Instead, get on the offense.
Beginning my day in an offensive place starts with my mindset. I have to do something to be proactively positive – it doesn’t just come to me every day. So, I scroll inspirational quotes on Pinterest or certain accounts/blogs I follow because it always gives me the positive perspective I need to begin my day.
