FACT: One
of my proudest accomplishments to date was graduating summa cum laude with a degree in biology. I know I
have a lot of college age blog readers and one of the most difficult
obstacles is time management. In order to excel as a pre-med major and
in my health and fitness goals, I knew I had to take care of myself in
order to preform to the best of my abilities. I gave myself some tough
love, saying “you’re going to eat in a given day regardless of how busy
your schedule or how rigorous your cause load, and you make the choice
to eat healthy or unhealthy foods.” I knew I had to nourish my body with
food that was good for it. I knew that working out released endorphins,
which acted on the brain as a “pleasure source” – daily workouts became
my “me time.” It’s certainly not easy, but it is do-able and so worth
it! “Education is something that no one can ever take away from you.”
