Sausage and Mushroom Tortilla Pizza Recipe that You’ll Make on Repeat

I’ve never met a pizza that I did not like, including this healthier tortilla pizza style. If you’ve never had a tortilla pizza, I’m confident in saying… you’re missing out. A tortilla?! First off, it aligns with my cooking style which is quick and easy. I love that you can just as easily make a single serving as you can enough for your entire family. The tortilla crisps in the most delicious way and it takes like a legitimate pizza. And, it is macro friendly. Even if you’re not someone who regularly counts macros (I don’t), it is important to be aware of portions with a macro mindset. I enjoy every bite of this meal all while staying on the path to reaching my goals.

 


Sausage & Mushroom Tortilla Pizza

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. When the oil shimmers, add the mushrooms and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Sauté for 8-10 minutes or until mushrooms are softened. Drain on paper towels.
  4. Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  5. Divide pizza sauce between the flour tortillas and top with precooked sausage, cooked mushrooms, and top with mozzarella.
  6. Sprinkle with oregano.
  7. Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until tortillas are crispy and the cheese is browned and melted.
