What is #LGLoveYourselfFit?  
In
short, it’s one of my free blog challenges I host with daily workouts,
tips and accountability challenges. This one is all about using health
and fitness as a tool to boost your self love, confidence and overall
happiness!

Self-Love Message of the Day: 

Sunshine = happiness =D Who wouldn’t agree with that?! The past few beautiful, sunshine-filled day’s I’ve experienced here in Wisconsin ((yes, that’s a pleasant surprise)) have been leaving me feeling happier than ever, which got me thinking. Studies have shown that even just a few minutes spent outside can increase vitamin D levels enough to positively affect an individual’s mood. There’s also something about the sun shinning on your face, breathing in fresh air and feeling connected to nature that helps us feel centered. When we are centered, we are most in tune with daily needs. A large part of self-love and happiness comes from knowing our needs, and fulfilling them!

Like you heard me mention in this week’s email newsletter, so often, we are too darn busy rushing through life to 1) identify our needs and 2) act in ways to satisfy them. It’s important that we take time to slow down and think about what we really need to make ourselves happy. With every opportunity or invitation that presents itself, especially in your free time, ask yourself if doing so will fulfill your needs. Instead of getting caught up in a Real Housewives marathon ((oops, that’s me)) which serves my needs very little, my needs could be better met if I was mindful of them!

Daily Challenge: Take outside the 10 minutes of mediation you promised me this week to soak in some sun – share the moment with us!
