#LGFitAndLean2016 Challenge: Cardio + Core (W5D3)

W5D3_cardio_core_workout_absHealthy Habit: STEP INTO MY…. REFRIGERATOR! This week is all about stepping into each others’s lives with peeks inside all the areas of our home that help keep up healthy and strong! Today is about that refrigerator! This is where the majority of what I eat lives. My fridge has a ridiculously fast turn over because I eat these foods 70% of the time. 
Just like with my pantry, organization is key! Anthony and I just began taking steps toward house hunting, so I’ve been holding off on purchasing food storage options until I know what the exact space will look like but I’ve been dying to get containers to organize the space. THIS and THIS are my food organization goal!
The top shelf holds my diary, eggs and fresh fruit that I cut up. If anything can spoil quickly, I try to keep it on the top shelf!

  • Eggs
  • Trader Joes Hard Boiled Eggs
  • Pineapple Chunks
  • Sliced Strawberries
  • Hummus
  • Faye Plain Non-Fat Greek Yogurt (Favorite Brand)
  • Lactaid Low Fat Cottage Cheese

The second shelf typically holds all of my prepped meals ((which didn’t make it to this picture because it’s Wednesday and half way through the week, I do my Mini Meal Prep)) but today is a collection of random items

  • Spinach
  • Califia Farms Unsweetened Almond Milk (my fav!)
  • Salsa
  • Red Sauce

I try to keep all my uncooked meat on the bottom shelf just in case any meat leaks.

  • Chicken Breasts
  • Grassfed, lean ground beef
  • Trader Joes Chicken Sausage
  • Uncured, natural bacon ((love the bacon storage container))
  • Celery ((the veggie drawers are too full))

Since my veggie drawers are jammed packed, laying out the veggies was the better photo option. I seem to buy the same veggies every time I’m at the store…. these are my “always” ones

  • Broccoli
  • Green Onions
  • White Onion
  • Red Onion
  • Garlic
  • Mushrooms
  • Brussels Sprouts
  • Carrots
  • Zucchini
  • Broccoli Slaw

Like most people, my door is condiment heaven and some drink! Thank goodness for the Eat Your Way Lean “extras” section because I do love my condiments!

  • Marie’s Rasberry Vinaigrette
  • Trader Joes Cocktail Sauce
  • Braggs Liquid Aminos
