I wanted today’s cardio and core to be one final switch up. Whether you’re working out on a cardio machine, running outdoors, or doing these cardio moves at home, I wanted you to feel your abs engaged the entire time!
- If you prefer to count reps for the ab movements 30 sec -> 15 reps
- If you choose to do the non-running cardio moves, perform 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off for the 3 minute intervals
- Complete 3 total rounds
Healthy Habit: Toothbrush tip! Last night on Instagram, I shared a bit about my toothbrush trick, and I wanted to be sure you all saw it. Lately, I’ve been working on a few of the biggest project I’ve ever created and it means I’m spending a lotttt of time at my desk. Any other desk employees know about the desk munchies?! I swear I have secret stash of snacks that I don’t even realize I’m eat while I work. It’s bad, but the toothbrush trick has been saving my booty ((literally! lol))
The toothbrush trick is so simple and it takes all of a minute or two. Right after I eat a meal, I brush my teeth. Mentally, it symbolizes the end of eating and helps you move onto whatever you’re doing. The minty fresh breath also gives a yucky taste when mixed with any foods, so it’s totally stops the snacking between meals. If you can’t brush your teeth, a mint would be the next best thing! This trick is totally simple and a bit goofy, but it works!!
