Tip of the Day: Cardio before and after leg day! Something you may have noticed in many of my recent leg workouts is the “warm up” and “cool down” using cardio for a leg workout. I’ve read several articles suggesting the best way to warm up on leg day is through light cardio, such as walking on a treadmill; the articles went onto suggest many traditional leg stretches used for warm ups actually cause micro tears in the muscle fibers. Either way, I’ve been enjoying cardio before as a warm up, building up in intensity and after for a burn out. After, I suggest doing some form of HIIT! I especially love sprints post-workout; give it a try and I bet you’ll be feeling it more than usual the next day!

Hi Lauren,
I was just wondering if you have any advice on how to stay fit and healthy while travelling. Thank you
