Motivation Monday Tip: Be intentional about bringing excitement into your healthy lifestyle. I’m sure you’ve heard people say ((or perhaps thought yourself)) that working out and eating healthy is boring. Well, I once had a babysitter who would reply to my “I’m bored” whines that, “only boring people get bored.” How true is that though?! When we learn to draw exciting things into our routine, it become fun! Think small and allow it to naturally build. For instance, I’m all about shopping with my girls and cute clothes, so I enjoy hitting up Lululemon, Nike, Reebok, Forever 21, and TJ Maxx to peruse to workout apparel with friends ((see ridiculously bright tank top pictured below)) If you’re someone who loves to be girly and try new hairstyles, create a new gym look with a simple pony tail ((see hair tutorial below))!

I love a braided pony tail to prevent the hair sticking to my sweaty back, and this was such a fun twist

Begin with a high, tight pony tail

Add invisible hair bands to different sections of the hair; the amount and distance between each will depend on the overall length of your hair

Hold the bottom of your body tail as you gently tug on the hair in between each invisible hair band to make it appear poofy
