Chest, Triceps & Shoulder Circuit:
-hand elevated push up (hands on bench)
-smith machine close grip chest press (for triceps)
-1min jumprope
x3

-incline dumbbell chest press
-dumbbell shoulder press
-1min jumprope
x3

-resistance band triceps kickbacks (pictured)
-resistance band side lateral raises
-medicine ball triceps overhead extensions (pictured)
-1min jumprope
x3

TIP OF THE DAY: Why I think fat burners are a no-go. I wanted to address this question on here because it is one of the most frequent questions I get on Instagram & in emails. I do not use fat burners, and I don’t recommend them. A lot of the individuals in fitness who use these supplements use them pre-contest for the stimulant effect & metabolic boost in the short-term; however, for every day individuals looking to lose weight & get in shape, I have seen more negative effects. For instance, I see behaviors such as “oh I’m on a fat burner, so this bag of chips will just be burned off” :/ There are plenty of natural metabolism boosting sources out there, such as blueberries (with antioxidants to reduce free radical build up in the body) & green tea (rich in polyphenols). Still, there is no denying that a consistent, clean diet & regular workouts will yield weight loss & muscle building results without the use of fat burners! Stay determined & dedicated!
I’m a little obsessed with circuit training lately – it may be due to my love of weights overshadowing my love of cardio machines, but I have been LOVING the results! I highly encourage circuits for many reasons as I have shared on earlier posts!
