Trying to lean out with a different approach: carefree. I typically put a lot of pressure on myself to see results; I think about, blog about, and am guilty of letting it consume me life. Part of my progress is taking a more relaxed approach to healthy living, allowing my decisions to be made from habit and giving my mind a chance to focus on other parts of life.

Tip of the Day: Eat naturally! So, maybe counting calories isn’t for you, but you still like some “guidelines” for healthy eating. My suggestion would be to focus on foods that come from the Earth instead of a factory. When I go grocery shopping, I find it best to shop on the perimeter of the store where many of these more natural foods are found. Also, check the nutrition labels of your food items. The fewer ingredients, the better! You should be familiar with every ingredient in the list, and if you can’t pronounce it, I would suggest staying away from it.
