TIP OF THE DAY: Make a difference some way some how. Many of you look to me, my blog, and my Instagram as a source of motivation in making a positive difference in your life and overall health. It doesn’t take having the perfect body, perfect clothing, perfect job, or perfect life to be in a position to make a difference; lets face it – “perfect” does not exist.  What characteristics and qualities do you possess that can make a difference in the world around you? Today, in the gym, a middle aged man told me that “my workout intensity inspired him;” further, after asking what I studied in school & my future career plans, he was impressed to hear that despite a rigorous major, daily studying for the DAT, and a future career in health care that I dedicate time for the gym each day. Are you a working mother, yet find time to squeeze in a workout and eating healthy? Are you in a career where you touch the lives of young children each day? These are qualities of dedication and inspiration that you possess to make a difference, and it is empowering to see that within yourself! It is not our external, but rather our internal selves that do the best at making a difference. Be proud of what you do to make an impact on others!
