Chest:
-flat bench barbell chest press
-superset with incline push ups (hands on bench)
-flat bench dumbbell flyes
-incline dumbbell chest press
Shoulders:
-dumbbell shoulder press
-superset with dumbbell side lateral raises (drop sets)
-cable rows with straight bar
-superset with cable side lateral raises (drop sets)
-rear delt flyes on pec dec machine (drop sets
TIP OF THE DAY: Stray from the “rules.” Okay, let’s get some terms down first.. drop sets are sets in which each subsequent set uses a decreased amount of weight; click here for a prior post’s tip of the day on drop sets for more info. Drop sets are typically preformed at the end of a workout to ensure the movement is being taken to failure, breaking down the muscle fibers to promote growth/results. However, I wanted to incorporate them into the beginning, middle and end of my workout. Don’t let “rules” stop you from trying something new; you never know what benefits you unless you try!
