Tasty Tuesday Tip: Don’t we all want to better enjoy celebrations ((and the food that goes along with it)) lol?! It is possible! My soon-to-be-released ebook (Eat Your Way Lean) goes into how to do this from a nutrition standpoint, but I have a few additional pointers that may help you especially during this holiday week!
Healthy Holiday Eating:
(1) Start Your Day with a Workout
It’s not so much the benefits of the workout, rather the hormonal response seems to lead to smarter food choices all day long.
(2) Focus on Fluids
Sufficient water intake will help to flush the body of toxins which is particularly helpful when we’re indulging in junk food. Aim to drink one glass of water every hour!
(3) Enjoy but Don’t Over-Indulge
Enjoy the festive food and drinks without taking it to an excess. If you’d like to have a dessert, just pick one instead of sampling them all!
