Chest & Back – 2/27

Chest:
-Cable cross overs
     superset with push ups off knees
-Chest press machine
-Bosu ball incline push ups
     superset with bosu ball decline push ups

Back:
-Inverted rows
-Single arm cable rows
-Bent over, reverse grip barbell rows
-Assisted pull ups to failure

Summer bodies are made in the winter! What we do today has results that are felt in the future! I’m not one who can easily stick to long-term goals, so I know to set several short-term goals that serve as stepping stones to my ultimate goal. If I’m working to get bikini-ready for a spring trip, I’ll be sure I set a small goal each week, such as drinking more water one week then being sure I get in an extra run the next week. In the moment, they seem small, but it’s what keeps me motivated!

 Tip of the Day: Stress less for more results. With all this talk about summer, bikinis, and spring trips, it’s easily to go from zero to hero. I’m sure you’ve been there, one day, you’re laying on the couch and the next, you’re working out two times in one day, juicing your own veggies, grocery shopping at a specialty health store, and cooking up clean creations. Slow down! This mentality I described often leads to a lot of self-induced pressure and stress, which, in my experience, typically results in failed efforts. When you learn to let go of stress, enjoy the process, and take small yet consistent steps, greater results will follow!
