TIP OF THE DAY: Training tip! At first glance, this workout may appear quick and/or easy. Who tried my pyramid style training I posted the other day? If you are unfamiliar with what I am talking about, check out this tip of the day from last week. For this workout, each movement consisted of 5 sets, working my way up in weight, hitting a peak, and lowering the weight (ie: 5lbs, 10lbs, 15lb, 10lbs, 5lbs). If you really push yourself with weight in this workout, the rep range should be between 10-15 reps give or take a few.  When I say push yourself, I mean it! Don’t stop at 12 reps because it’s a nice number, take most sets to close to failure.

Eat Clean to Get Lean: What
a great start to the morning! I love breakfast protein smoothies for
three reasons: 1) They’re quick & easy. Throw a few ingredients into
a blender and you have a breakfast for on the go 2) Variety. These
smoothies are adaptable to meet your dietary/macro needs and taste buds
by simple switch ups to the ingredients 3) No eggs! Eggs are a go-to for
protein in the morning but for those who don’t like eggs or those who
just get tired of eggs, this is a great alternative!

Because my hair has a life of its own, I’ll share its update – I’ve decided to give it a healthy cut. I get regular trims despite my haircut phobia, but my hair could use a fresh start!
