8am class on Tuesdays = no AM cardio!
PM: Back & Biceps
Back:
-assisted pull ups
-lat pull downs with rope
-close grip cable row
-bent over barbell row
-hyperextensions (dropped the 45lb plate on my finger during this)
Biceps:
-incline dumbbell curls
-cable curls with straight bar
-dumbbell hammer curls
This wasn’t a “listen to your body” injury… dropping that plate on my finger made for one throbbing, painful experience and turned into a push through it workout!
TIP OF THE DAY: Embrace being busy! We are all busy bees, and instead of letting it define you, embrace it! Look at being busy in a positive light – I often get more done when I have a lot to do, and it helps me set up a schedule. It also keeps the boredom hunger/binges away 🙂 I often think, if you’re not spending your day at work or in school, then working out and eating right – what a boring day/life; rest days should be hard-earned days – there is no time for lazy if you want to be healthy and fit. NEVER complain about being busy; there are too many people out there who are terminally ill and/or in hunger due to poverty – be happy you have a busy life. BUSY = SCHEDULE = HEALTHY & FIT 🙂
I have back to back weekends of traveling for work with school squeezed in between; I better take my own advice and come up with a good schedule to fit everything in 😉
Hey look… it’s a baby bicep 😉
I officially said hello to fall today with my riding pants, fall nailpolish, and some Chai Green tea (love the positive quotes on my Yogi tea)
Spring/Summer colors to the bottom of the bin & Fall/Winter colors to the top
