TIP OF THE DAY: Your body requires a daily minimum amount of vitamins and minerals in order to function properly and remain healthy. A balanced diet will normally supply sufficient amounts, however, poor eating habits, stress, and lack of sun exposure are all instances that may cause a vitamin deficiency. Personally, I’m around too many coughs and sneezes in classrooms that I like to ensure my overall health. Therefore, I take a Vitamin B (metabolism), Biotin (a B-vitamin specializing in hair, skin, and nail health), Calcium (strong bones), Vitamin D (supports absorption of calcium and immune system booster), Zinc (mineral for immune response), and Vitamin C (healthy immune system – can be obtained through citric fruits as well). I take these vitamins at times other than with medications, supplements, etc. It is important to look at which vitamins should be taken together, separate, with food, on an empty stomach, etc. BE HAPPY BE HEALTHY 🙂
