Shoulders, Glutes & Abs – 1/3

Shoulders:
-Standing dumbbell press
-Dumbbell side lateral riases
     superset with dumbbell partial side lateral raises
-High cable rear delt pulls
     superset with bent over rear delt dumbbell flyes
-Cable front raises with straight bar

Glutes:
-Kettlebell stiff legged deadlifts
     superset with kettlebell swings
-Side dumbbell step ups
     superset with box jumps

I know there are a lot of us saying we don’t feel our best after the holidays, but there is a way to to use this to your benefit -> weight training & heavy weight training. Think of all those extra carbs and a little extra fluff on your body as energy! Use that energy constructively in the gym to push yourself with weight and reps!

Tip of the Day: Two
days into the new year and I’ve seen lots of posts made about all the
“newbies” in the gym. Before we jump to judge, keep in mind we were all
once beginners. I can recall the feelings of intimidation when I first
ventured into the gym and I’m sure you can too! Instead of poking fun,
let’s try to encourage and empower these individual; many of us know
first hand how it isn’t easy to turn healthy habits into a lifestyle,
but it’s certainly worth it. Share that! It can be as simple as
dropping a piece of advice on how to use a machine or even just a smile.
Remember…strong people lift others up!
