ConfidenceKini Body Tip of the Day: There’s a great deal of advice out there that we know we should implement, but something holds us back. I’ve found that what allows us to put plans into action is getting hooked on the outcome. Living in the moment is advice I’ve heard for as long as I can remember, but only when I felt what being present resulted in did I make it a priority. Let me see if I can hook you. So often we feel pushed to do something and it typically stems from fear; we fear we won’t get the promotion if we don’t put in hours on the weekend, so we do that even though we don’t even know that we love the job we’re in. Living in the moment helps you eliminate that push and instead, allows you to be pulled by love: pulled into your passions, your deepest desires, what really makes you happy. So, how do we learn to live in the moment? Practice! One of the easiest way to learn living in the moment is to be outdoors and to simply notice the world: look at the treeline, listen to the birds, let the shimmer of a lawn ornament catch your eye, feel the gust of wind. Get hooked on this feeling and see what other doors being present in each moment can open for you!
Daily Challenge: Take your cardio outside or take in some fresh air and sunshine for a few minutes today! Share what living in the moment outside looks like!
Running trails are such a gem. It’s freeing, peaceful, and energizing all at the same time. From busy cities like Houston to quiet northern Wisconsin suburbs, I’ve found running trails just about everywhere I’ve lived. Look for some in your local area!

Is there a place where you describe or demonstrate these excercises more explicitly? I'm not sure how to do the Plank Front to Side Raise from just the image. Is the arm up the entire movement, or down and then up?
Also, how long should each of your workouts take?
Thank you for all of these workouts- they've inspired me to do more weights instead of sticking to cardio all the time.
Do you ever count macronutrients or calories? I recently started your meal plan, but I realized that it's hard for me to eat an "acceptable" ratio without obsessively measuring everything. Is this really necessary, or should I just eyeball it?
I remember reading from you that cardio can inhibit muscle growth. If that's the case, should I be worried about tacking on the ~20 minutes of cardio a few times a week, from your workout plan? (Total Body Transformation)
I am currently training for a half marathon and the total body transformation. I want to be fueling my body properly. What do you suggest portion wise to ensure adequate fuel for both.
