SMILE, it’s Friday! With a 3 day/holiday weekend ahead, be sure to make today count. I really enjoyed the post workout body weight cardio today…there’s just something about ending the workout on a super sweating, heart pumping note that gives me euphoric feelings!

Fact: I celebrate holidays like there’s no tomorrow! This is definitely something I inherited from my mom; whether it was my birthday or a Hallmark holiday like sweetest day, she was always certain to make it a celebration to remember. Holidays are simply a reminder for me to live life to the fullest and to make the day memorable. I love a quote by Steve Jobs that really hammers home this point. He states, “if today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today? And whenever the answer has been ‘no’ for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.” We don’t need a holiday to serve as a reason to celebrate and make the day great. 
I’m heading to Dallas this weekend. My agenda includes serious time spent poolside, a quaint outdoor lunch, a BBQ, and lots of laughter with friends and family! What are you up to? Comment below. Happy Labor Day Weekend!
