What a year… right?! I think most of us would agree that we are welcoming 2021 with open arms. As someone who is an avid goal-setter, I love a new year. I love that it’s a very reflective time and opportunity to start fresh. I fill myself with possibilities as I look at my past goals and set new ones. This year, I did something new and it was incredibly powerful, so I had to share.
Let’s get it out there… 2020 was tough. For me personally, I experienced some stellar highs but day-to-day life was much more challenging. This new year is just a bit different: I see so much to be thankful for but I also notice the misses due to the current times of the world.
You may be feeling similarly. This year, it may be easier to feel like you didn’t achieve and progress as much as you had hoped.
Below are some questions to help you focus on the good – the little and big victories – that brought you happiness this year. These questions not only helped me find more to be thankful for but they also lead me to knowing exactly what goals I wanted to set for myself and my family moving forward.
I hope these 30 questions to ask yourself at the end of the year are just as impactful for you as they were for me.
Wishing you endless blessings in 2021!
As I was making this list of questions, I started scrolling through my camera roll, looking at pictures throughout the year. Here are a few that stood out to me: lots of home workouts (with my littles), cuddles, walks, trips to feed the ducks and family time time. While it wasn’t the year I planned, it gave me wonderful memories. For such a tough year, my silver lining is all the precious memories I’ve made at home with my family.
