NEW WORKOUT VIDEO: THE BEST SUMMER AB WORKOUT

You may have heard me share this before, but years ago, I literally googled “how to get abs.” Forever, I’ve been obsessed with abdominal definition because, to me, it is the epitome of a fit body. The first workouts I ever did were YouTube ab clips…they were what got me started, and I’m so excited to be on the flip side, sharing moves that will help you sculpt your core! I’m a little new at this “workout, talk form, and count reps” thing ((as you’ll be able to tell by my mis-counted reps)) but I promise to get better with time. Also, I’d love to hear what other workouts you’d like to see next!

Tip of the Day: With the launch of our first full-length ab workout, why not add in an ab tip?! This is one that I certainly wish I had back in the day when I was googling “how to get abs” lol. When most of us think abs, we think fitness…crunches, sit ups, planks, etc., but what we really should think is fitness and nutrition. Here’s the real deal…abs are built and sculpted with workouts like this one and will be revealed through proper nutrition, such as I lay out in the LG Meal Plan. Nutrition, and more specifically a system of nutrition geared towards seeing physical results helps to decrease overall body fat. When our body fat percentage is low enough, it allows for our beautiful muscles to peak through! Hey there, abdominals! So, just as much as I suggest getting in this workout and other core exercises a few times per week, I really want you to focus on those meals! I’m not talking a restricted calorie or low carb meal plan…let’s aim for balanced, properly portioned, and nutrient-dense meals several times per day to promote a revved up metabolism and a sexy self…six pack included 🙂

    I really loved this video! I sometimes kind of struggled to understand the full range of motion in certain workouts you've explained through pictures before, so having video and really seeing each movement is great. I'll definitely be adding these 3 moves to my workouts!
