#LGFitmas Challenge: HIIT Cardio + Core (W5D2)

December222015WODTasty Tuesday Tip of the Day: I’m 110% in holiday mode. Everything I do has a touch of Christmas in it. And, of course, as a foodie…. that holiday infatuation has even trickled into my food in the weirdest way! I’m oddly obsessed with color! Hear me out… I’m the type of girl ((using girl here for a reason lol)) that loves a theme, costume parties, holidays, and color coordination. I get a child-like excitement about the little things.
I’m always looking for new ways bring enthusiasm and enjoyment into healthy food. Colorful food – in particular, colorful, themed foods – has inspired my love of nutrition like no other lately. On the 4th of July, I was all about serving a frozen yogurt parfait ((white) with strawberries ((red)) and blueberries ((blue)) This Christmas, I’ve been looking for fun ways to create red and green meals. Moms… this is a huuuuge help for getting kids interested and involved in healthy eating, but it also works for adults who can enjoy a little silliness 😉 …using silliness instead of immaturity hehe
Bottom line… try adding red and green to your meals this week and see how a little fun, exploration of all the green and red foods in the grocery store can really spice up your meals!

Today, I wanted to share a recipe I’ve previously posted and recently fell back in love with, especially because it’s GREEN AND RED! So festive! I’m thrilled to be hosting my first Christmas Eve celebration and you bet this green pasta with red tomatoes will be on the dinner plates!
