#LGBeautyAndBooty Challenge: Lower Body Volume (W5D4)

With only THREE booty workouts (( including this one )) left during the challenge, I’ve never been more motivated to push through every last set and rep….I hope you’re feeling the same! Today’s pain = tomorrow’s progress! It’s worth it! This backside sculpting workout will surely lift and tighten that booty and you’ll feel it about five minutes in!

PS – as I mentioned yesterday, do not worry about your booty gains….I promise I have something amazing for you after the Beauty and Booty Challenge! Keep kicking serious booootay!

Training Tip Thursday: Unilateral training or targeting each leg/glute individually is quite an effective technique for sculpting that perky, round booty or for bringing up any lagging body part for that matter. In contrast to unilateral training, there is bilateral training, which is probably more common, such as targeting both legs at the same time like in a traditional squat or deadlift. Unilateral movements are performed one side at a time, such as in a single leg deadlift. There are a number of reasons why unilateral training is effective. First off, the mind/muscle connection seems to be stronger when training one side at a time; for instance, in a single leg deadlift, I am able to concentrate move on feeling that hamstring/glute tie in engage and push through the movement more so than when I have two feet on the ground. Personally, I find it best to incorporate both bilateral and unilateral exercises for optimal results! Below you can find some of my favorites 🙂 What are some of yours??

    Dead lifts are my favorite but that was a LOT of single leg dead lifts…"it's not swagger I'm just sore" 😉
