#LGBeautyAndBooty Challenge: HIIT Cardio + Abs (W3D3)

You are going to ABSolutely adore this Abs & Booty HIIT Cardio Workout. First off, I’ve been dying to share this new workout structure with you! Abs during cardio…I mean come on!! And to top it off there’s booty sculpting mixed in. As women working toward curves made of muscle…this is so ideal for our goals! I WANT YOU TO HAVE A BOOTY & ABS THAT POP 🙂

WORKOUT NOTE: The HIIT circuit is: 1 min of sprinting, 1 min of kettlebell swings and 15 reps of dumbbell sit ups, which is repeated a total of 10 times before moving onto the walking cool down! Just wait till you feel how much your abs and booty engage as you work up a sweat that will leave you glowing all day!

Workout Wednesday Tip: Where are my busy bees at?? I have a good feeling that’s just about all of us. It’s amazing how much we accomplish in one day! I have two workout timing suggestions for you that will help all of us girls on the go not only get in a great workout, but utilize the energy boost and endorphin rush that fills us after a workout to be even more productive, focused and having fun!

Two Best Times To Workout For a Busy Bee:
(1) FIRST THING IN THE AM
Before your brain reminds you of everything you need to accomplish, get in a workout! You may have heard me talk about the first 60 minutes of your day as the “golden hour” where what you do highly determines the energy and mood of you’ll experience the entire day. Why not kick off the day on a high note and with an energy kick to help you tackle all your tasks?!
(2) RIGHT AFTER WORK/SCHOOL
And I mean…right after work or classes! For years, I was never an early morning workout person, but I learned that if I was going to go in the evening, I had to pack a gym bag and go before I even got home. You know how good your couch feels after a long, hard day?! Yes, we know it well…and we know that most times once we sit down, we won’t get back up and especially not up and out to the gym. Getting in your workout before you go home will help ensure you get there and also provides and kick start to a productive and peaceful evening. Plus, I always love swinging by the grocery store on my way home for the gym to make a healthy dinner!

    What could we do if we don't go to the gym and cant use treadmill? It's also supposed to rain here later today. Thanks!

      I'm just going to sprint in place! I think you could do just about anything as long as it gets your heart rate up (fast jump rope in place, high knees, jumping jacks, etc.).

      Exactly!! Great suggestions, Renae! Jump rope at a fast pace is the quickest way I can get my HR going – even "going through the motions" without an actual rope is killer!! XO
