Happy 1st Birthday Fitness Barbie!
Today is a very proud day for me and my blog. One year ago today, I began blogging under Fitness Barbie. My initial goal with beginning to blog was to connect with others passionate about health and fitness, hold myself accountable in my own goals, and hopefully motivate a few along the way. I never imagined that my little blog transformed into what it has in just one year; Fitness Barbie Lauren Gleisberg receives around 8,000 visitors from across the world each day and is officially a legal business as of today! I am so honored and humbled to be a part of so many of your health and fitness journeys.
So many of you share that I motivate you, but you all motivate me to continue pushing to be the best that I can! I hope to continue to evolve with you all, providing the workouts, recipes, tips, and advice to get you to your goals. Clearly, my blog is filled with health and fitness content, but most of all I strive to share this information to be used as a platform in achieving self confidence and happiness. Healthy living has helped give me a whole new perspective on life – one of achievements, goal-setting, positivity, security, inner peace, and genuine happiness. I hope that I can help open your eyes to this as well!
I am grateful for each and every one of you and sincerely appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to stop by my blog and enjoy a workout with me 🙂

Wow, you've only been doing this for a year?! Mind blown! You seem like you've been doing this forever! Just wondering, do you compete in the fitness world or do you just work out for your own health and well being?
It blows my mind too lol 🙂 I've been working out regularly for 7+ years and been in athletics since age 3, so I've had lots of time to build my base and foundation of knowledge. I actually do not compete; I've worked in the industry & seen competing from lots of different angles, and I don't think it is for me at this time. I just really enjoy working out for fun 🙂
