Hamstrings & Glutes
-leg press (4sets – 2 warm up, 2 work sets)
-seated leg curl
-superset with barbell lunges
-barbell dead lifts
-superset with weighted sumo squats
-smitch machine split squats
-superset with lying leg curls (flat bench using dumbbell between feet)
-leg press (drop sets – no rest in between sets, but decrease weight with every set)
TIP OF THE DAY: When your targeting your legs, it’s great to incorporate both compound movements and isolated movements. A compound movement is something like a squat or lunge that uses multiple leg muscles (quads, hamstrings, glutes). An isolated movement would target one muscle group, such as leg curls isolating the hamstrings (pictured). For best results, use a combination of both!

I love following & reading your blog on a daily basis. Can you post the recipe for this brown rice meal when you get a chance? Thanks!
Hi Adriana! Thank you – I'm glad you like it. This is actually the Fiesta Lime Shrimp recipe from one of my earlier posts -> http://fitnessbarbielaurengleisberg.blogspot.com/2012/10/fiesta-citrus-shrimp-brown-rice.html
It's pretty easy & the Mrs. Dash fiesta and lime salt free seasoning is great, especially on fish and turkey burgers 🙂
