Cardio Day:
-5min walking (warm up)
-30 min HIIT (treadmill)
1min sprint
1min walking
…repeat
-5min walking (cool down)
TIP OF THE DAY: Going
to a catholic school for a good portion of my life, it was always a big
deal as to what we would give up for lent. Instead of giving something
up, we may find it more fulfilling and purposeful to DO something we do
not usually make time for. This is an exercise that does not need to be
exclusive for just Christians or even during lent, but can be used by
anyone at any time. What are the gifts and talents you possess that you
haven’t tapped into fully? What action or actions could you make part of
your daily routine to live out the talents you have been blessed with?
To relate this to health and fitness, instead of giving up chocolate or peanut butter, try incorporating something positive into your routine. Maybe add 15min of stretching to every workout or before bed. Try to eat one more meal in a day if you’re looking to build muscle. Focus on getting in a gallon of water per day. These small actions require an incredible amount of dedication, commitment, and patience in seeing results!
