August 18-24 Meal Plan

WEEK 2 🙂
TIP OF THE DAY: Why constantly switch the meal plan?! Our bodies contain smart biological systems that adapt to change very well: too well in the case of nutrition (in my opinion). What I mean is that your body begins adapting to the food you feed it, and I believe the key to results is to always keep your body guessing; therefore, I find it essential to switch up macro sources, which I did this week from last weeks. Additionally, mentally, switching up food sources promotes a positive outlook on eating clean as opposed to sliding into the “I’m sick of this meal” mindset.
This
serves as one day full of meals and is repeated for 7 days, which is
not too long to get sick of the food but allows for food to be pre-made
in mass amounts. Typically, I do 5 meals – meals 1, 2, and 4 are more of
a breakfast, lunch and dinner, while meals 3, and 5 are smaller
portioned meals to keep my body fed properly throughout the day.
Additionally, there is an optional post-workout shake/meal that can be
added any time during the day. I did not want to provide specific times
to eat these meals as everyone’s schedule varies; I suggest meal 1
should be consumed within 1 hour of waking and then all other meals
should be spaced 2.5-3.5 hours apart (give or take depending on your
schedule). My meal plan style is SIMPLISTIC; I’ve
found the more ingredients and the longer the prep, the more likely one
is to fall off the plan.

***I AM SO SORRY THAT ONCE AGAIN MY PAYPAL ACTED UP AND PROHIBITED TRANSACTIONS! You all must love the meal plans so much that you give paypal a big scare – too many wonderful clean eaters out there 🙂 All problems are solved and I’m hopeful it will be smooth sailing from here.

My “I’m sorry do this while prepping meals quickie workout”
-10 jump squats
-20 jumping jacks
-10 push ups off kitchen counter
-20 high knees (engage abs)
….repeat several times throughout your food prep 🙂

      Hi Katrina,
Woohoo – good for you! I'm happy that you're taking control of your eating habits! My meals are a great balance of clean yet tasty! Let me know how you like it 🙂

    • Katrina

I cooked and planned for the next three days! 🙂 I am eating a meal as we speak. I even tagged you in a pic of my meals on instagram. I had to substitute the veggie in one meal because i didn't have it on hand. It's so exciting to see my fridge full of healthy ready-made meals I can just nuke real quick! Can't wait to meal plan when I start teaching again in a couple of weeks. I won't have to worry most of the week about prepping meals! 🙂

I have a questions though, do you measure your chicken breast before or after it has been cooked? I have seen mixed views online.

Just bought your meal plan, do u know where I can find the nut butter? All we really have around us is a Kroger and a Walmart, I figured Kroger would have it but they only had soy butter ?

    • Fitness Barbie

Oh my – I hope I didn't confuse you all; nut butter = peanut butter or almond butter or cashew butter!

    • Jessica Salyer

Lol I got peanut butter just wasn't sure if there was a "nut butter" 🙂

Anyone else having an issue buying the meal plan? I click the buy tab and it does nothing….

    • Fitness Barbie

Oh no! It has been working for others – are you trying on a phone, mobile device, computer?!

  4. datcutenurse

I paid the $3 it says 5 downloads but I only received one plan. Is that correct.

    • Fitness Barbie

That is correct. The 5 downloads means you can only download that same meal plan a total of 5 times (sellfy's rules to prevent sharing I guess)

  5. Elise Mcculloch

Maybe I did not read the directions properly.. I downloaded the meal plan but it looks like it is a meal plan for one day. I was thinking it was going to be a different meal plan for each day. Am I doing something incorrectly or is it the same meals for a weeks straight?

  6. Kelly Sauer

I recently purchased this meal plan but I accidentally clicked out of the window before downloading it. Is there any way I can still get it without have to re-buy it. The same with the August 11-17 meal plan.
