THROWBACK WEEK – DAY 4
Back to the baby bicep days 🙂
Tip of the Day: Live healthy in all regards! Healthy living does not just entail eating clean and working out. There are far more expansions of the this term than simply food and exercise; for instance, healthy relationships, healthy thoughts, healthy actions, etc. This is definitely something that I am working on! Just yesterday I struggled with a haircut, even knowing that it would enhance the health of my hair 😉 Take a look at your life outside of the gym and kitchen, and work on improving your health in many ways!
Eat Clean to Get Lean: Meal #4! New addition to my stir fry: cashews! I am most definitely a stir fry addict and in my opinion, a stir fry is simple and tasty. I simply throw all the ingredients into a pan with some extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil. Compared to other nuts, cashews have a relatively low fat content, and the majority of this fat is unsaturated (=the healthy fat). For those of you who are following my weekly meal plan, I hope you’re enjoying this meal as much as I am!
QUESTION OF THE DAY: What is your favorite type of nut and why?

ALMONDS!!!! I love them in all their wonderful forms. Almond milk, almond flour, almond butter. As long as my portions are in check, I think they are nutritionally awesome!
Definitely walnuts! I love the flavor, and the buttery texture makes such a powerhouse food seem very indulgent. Great in oatmeal, breads, cereal, trail mix, or just by themselves!
