This is our first official family Christmas card and I couldn’t love it any more. Christmas cards are one of my favorite things to plan out. I think moving forward, I want to be that family that has fun themes… if Anthony and my kids will go along with it haha.
This isn’t sponsored of anything but I created and bought my cards through Minted this year. I normally use Shutterfly but I did Leo’s birth announcement from Minted too and really liked their designs. I always have to add a photo stamp!
My friend and photographer, Jenn Mathews shot all of these at a local park. As many of you know, my son, Leo is all smiles all of the time. When we went to shoot these photos, he gave a stone cold face for every shot haha. They’re still super cute and I quite love his serious face.

HOLIDAY PLANS
In THIS post I shared 10 things I do around the holidays but today I also was excited to share what we will be doing for Christmas.
One piece of advice I heard and actually took (because you get so much silly, unasked for advice as a new mom haha) was to start holiday plans/schedules you wanted with the birth of your first baby. So, if you want to stay at home on Christmas, begin in now.
Christmas is a holiday I love being home for and not a close family member’s home: my home! I love waking up on Christmas morning and sitting by my tree to exchange gifts. I enjoy cooking a Christmas casserole in my kitchen. It just is part of Christmas to me. My mom always set that tradition for us and I loved it growing up
Now that I have my own little family, I plan to do the same. Even though the majority of our family lives in Wisconsin, this is a holiday we have decided to celebrate here at home in Texas.
I mentioned in my Christmas post last week that I normally host Christmas Eve. We do Christmas morning with my little family and then go to my parents later on Christmas Day.
This year, my mom asked if I preferred to have both celebrations at my house just because it’s easier for the baby. I agreed but wanted to put a fun twist on it.
CHRISTMAS SLEEPOVER!
I literally group texted my family this:
They all RSVP’d “yes” lol and loved the idea. We have plenty of rooms and beds, and I can’t wait to wake up here for Christmas all together! It’s been like 5+ years since that happened.
Anyways, I’m super excited about it and plan on doing lots of fun, festive food, drinks, activities and movies! How are you guys celebrating? Any fun ideas your families do?? Leave a comment on my latest IG post if you can!
