Last week’s workout was all about building the booty and burning calories on the treadmill; I worked extra hard to create an even better workout this week! The specific incline and speeds specified on the downloadable version will really help!
Daily Dose of Motivation: I
first had this realization when I babysat for an attorney and I, myself
was interested in law school. I was simply working to make money but it
had nothing to do with pursuing my dreams; meanwhile, I was working for
someone who was achieving his. I’m sure you’ve all been there. Maybe
you still are. I highly encourage you to 1) identify what it is that you
want to do with your life – not the “comfortable” path, but the one the
scares you! 2) pursue it! We can all dream, but very few of us actually
build them! Don’t allow your life to be about building someone else’s
dreams at the expense of your own.

    hi Lauren!
I'm a british size 14 in trousers and asthmatic and never done much exercise but really want to become athletic. Do you have a recommended cardio exercise regime I could use? Like how far should i run a day? 🙂 thank you- I love reading your blog, it makes me confident I can be fitter!

    • Fitness Barbie

      Hi Shannon,
I would recommend both cardio & weights (cardio alone does not mean you will just lose fat/weight); in fact, weights will help get you there! Maybe try some of my circuit workouts for both the cardio & weight training benefits!

Good luck girl – consistency is key! You WILL get to your goals.

      XO

    Hi Lauren,

I'm getting married in 4 weeks and would love to flatten my tummy and pull in my waist as much as possible before then. Gotta look good in that dress! I exercise regularly and eat clean (Paleo), but still have a little bit of a pooch. Do you have any ab moves/routines you recommend? Your abs I'm look amazing, I'm so jealous! Thanks, Samantha

Congratulations Samantha! Yes, I typically do abs 1-2x per week. If you go under the workouts drop down you can click the abs box for all the workouts I do. My most current ones with reps, sets, etc. are on the donwloadable dollar a day training! Best thing for abs though is what you eat! Keep it healthy and clean! Have an amazing wedding day & best of luck!

  3. Janette

    Hello Lauren,

So I've been trying to eat clean and go to the gym at least 3 times a week. My only issue is that i'm trying to tone, cuter butt and maybe some good ab work. Is there anything that you would recommend eating wise and workouts? I don't want to go to the gym and end up not doing what i should be.

    Thanks

      Hi Janette,
Losing body fat is a systemic process, meaning working out legs wont lead to reducing fat on your legs. Your body burns fat wherever it wants first – typically the first place you gain is the last to go. So, I suggest total body workouts with weight training (such as how I post on my blog), cardio 2-3x per week, and a healthy eating meal plan. My meal plans I post are 5 small meals and will help with those goals! Good questions – I'm sure you will see great results!
