I have talked about my 5 minute make up routine for years. I am not a make up expert but I do think I’ve mastered my quick make up look so that it appears that I put in a lot more effort than I actually did.
This make up routine is simple and easy. I’ve almost come to like this look than my full glam/going out makeup.
Here is my current updated 5 minute make up routine I’ve been doing.
This provides just enough coverage while feeling light enough for everyday wear. It doesn’t make me break out but gives my skin such a beautiful, even appearance. Also, I LOVE that 1 tube of this lasts me forever… I think close to 1 year!
I use the color “light”.
I am very susceptible to concealer (or even too much make up) causing me to look cakey. This concealer is great because it covers yet hydrates so you don’t even realize you have another layer of make up on.
I use the shade “vanilla”.
This setting powder is also a make or break for this look. It sets my CC cream and foundation yet illuminates in a radiant yet nonsparkly way. Because it’s a bit pricier, I’ve tried to love others, but I always come back to this because it’s just the best.
I swear by this bronzer. Just a little bit gives you the most naturally tan color. I have the mini size and it’s lasting me forever!
These blushes are the most beautifully pigmented blushes I’ve ever used. Huge warning- a little goes a very long way. You need the tiniest dot of product to give your cheeks so much color. One tube has lasted me well over a year.
Lately, I’ve been applying rose riot and fearless flush but I also love fresh faced (great for just a tan look) + power pink (love in summer!)
I’ve found that a structured, filled in brow really creates a finished look even if I’m doing a quick make up routine, so I’ll take a minute on this step. I prefer this brow crayon because it really is “goof proof” as the name implies. It’s great for those who want nice brows without being a semi-pro at achieving that.
I have used this for YEARS and still love it. I apply it with an angled brush (not the one that it comes with).
Forever and always, these are my ride or die mascara primer and mascara. You can read (THIS) post on all about how I apply, but they’re simply the best. And, multiple coats get you even more of a va-va-voom look.
I am obsessed with these brushes (which you know if you follow me on Instagram). I feel that these brushes elevate my entire make up look, especially a quick routine. I use the Oval 7 the most. In fact, you could use do this full face application with just that brush, cleaning off product in between. Because I have more brushes – I do use ones from the Elite 5 Brush Set, but the Elite 3 Brush Set would hit the basics
