With all the time spent at home, my family and I have learned to create our own fun. These are 4 activities that can be enjoyed as a family, made into a date night or a small get together.
1. POOL DAY
Who doesn’t enjoy a pool day?! We don’t have a pool in our current home (very excited for that with our home build), but that doesn’t stop us from creating a pool day right in our backyard. Some of these items take it next level for the kids. When our boys go down for a nap, Anthony and I make some adult drinks (my favs here) and enjoy the heck out of the day.

2. OUTDOOR BONFIRE
One of our favorite activities, especially because it easily caters to both kids and adults. We do a lot of cul du sac bonfires, which is why I love the bonfire pit that transports easily. A few neighbors will gather around this and it’s such a fun and stress-free way of getting together. Of course, the kids love making s’mores (and so do I!).

3. MOVIE NIGHT IN
This takes your Netflix game next level. This is my favorite popcorn maker. My kids love to watch the popcorn pop and I, of course, love to eat it. The popcorn bowls and containers just make it extra fun.

4. OUTDOOR PICNIC/DINNER
We are all about a picnic. Back in the day, Anthony and I did nicer picnic dinners. When we lived in Wisconsin and were a few minutes away from Lake Michigan (way more beautiful than you would believe!), we often took Whole Foods down to the lakefront. Now, my boys love to go to the park for picnics and watch the ducks. Here are all of our picnic go-tos.
