21-Day #LGKickStartFit Fitness & Healthy Habit Formation Challenge

{ The time is NOW }
There is so much inspiring energy in the air with the turn of a new year! 
Let’s take advantage of that and join together to kickstart our best year yet.
They say it takes 21 days to create a habit; healthy living is nothing more than a collection of healthy habits repeated on a daily basis. Let’s build those healthy habits and work on building a fit body through a 21-day challenge with a community to hold us accountable to our 2015 goals!
What is #LGKickStartFit?
It’s a 21-day fitness challenge to build a strong and fit body and create healthy habits for lasting results! From January 4th to January 24th, we will build healthy habits through workouts, nutrition, motivation and more to promote lasting results and to stick to our new years resolutions!

Daily Workouts:
Daily workout posts will be made to my blog Monday-Friday; 5 workouts per week will ensure you’re working towards a fit body!
Pinterest:
These workouts will also be pinned to my #LGKickStartFit Pinterest board, so you can see them all in one place and pin them to your own boards! I’ve already created the board, so be sure you go quickly follow my account (here). I also love to pin motivational quotes, DIY crafts and home decor.
Habits/Challenges: 
Each day, we will walk through one healthy habit to pick up! Over the course of 21 days, we will work on 21 healthy habits that will serve as stepping stones to a healthy lifestyle.
Watch for a challenge each day on my blog to keep you engaged! I want you to feel obligated to join in the fun and fitness challenge that is #LGKickStartFit
Accountability:
To stay connected and accountable, we will use social media check ins on Instagram to work through this plan together! Ideas for picture uploads include, but are not limited to: meals, recipes, workout selfies, completed challenges, lifestyle pis, etc.
On Instagram, be sure to use the hashtag #LGKickStartFit & #LGAccountability so all of us in the community can see/like/comment on your pictures! Feel free to peruse the hashtag as well for inspiration from all the other ladies working through the plan! Invite your friends, family, co-workers, etc….anyone who will further help keep you accountable!
Prizes:
We are turning up the incentives with this challenge! Each week, one $25 gift card (to the winners choice of Lululemon, Nike, Dicks Sporting Goods or Sports Authority) will be given to the person who has shown the highest level of dedication and progress (IG check ins, comments to others, and overall commitment). One $50 gift card will be given at the end of the plan to the person who showed to greatest overall progress and committment!

Habit #1: ((Schedule))
Scheduling your week ahead is critical to carrying out your healthy habits. I highly suggest investing in a planner and adding to it all of your life events: work hours, meetings, exams/projects, kids and husbands obligations, appointments, etc. Once those “musts” are written in there, you can add in the healthy habits you need to accomplish, such as workouts, grocery shopping, and meal prepping. I suggest doing this on Sunday, so you can look at your week ahead; examine each day on an individual basis and mark in your calendar when your workouts are going to happen. Some days, you may have the time for an evening workout, while on another day, you’ll need to wake up early to squeeze a workout in before school or work. You wouldn’t miss a meeting with your boss or a lunch with your girlfriend, so by making your workout an appointment with the gym and fitting it into your schedule, you’ll be more likely to go!
